I'm going to tell you how I feel,
and I know it's not my place
but look how far you've dropped:
What a shameful fall from grace.

You think you know me completely,
and I thought I knew your face,
I guess we've fallen off the radar,
what a shameful fall from grace.

The cuts on your arms and legs,
mean nothing but the hate,
and I wish that you hadn't
made that shameful fall from grace.

I reached out and tried to catch you
I guess that it was fate,
and all you did was kick me back
to take your shameful fall from grace.

So I'll throw down another rope to you,
and have it bear up all your weights,
since you will never let me help you
in your shameful fall from grace.

Blessed be those that bind,
and never loose their faith,
Another here will take my post,
to help save you from your shameful fall from grace.

I'm curious to see where this will go,
will you rise up again and face,
all the problems you left behind
in your shameful fall from grace?

Prove to the world you're strong enough
that you can overcome false premise,
Prove to them that you don't need me to blame
for your shameful fall from grace.

This poem was inspired by a line from "Against My Better Judgement" by Further Seems Forever.

Well, if this is what I think it's about it seems a little harsh. There is a good point behind it, though.

It is a good poem.....nice job, Al.

You're probably right, it is probably what you're thinking about. Thanks for the comment big man!
