You are:
So consumed by a bitter, hopeless heart,
every piece just consumed by the part,
That bleeds jealousy, bleeds agony,
That does not see the truth.

You are:
Holding onto something,
that has no meaning,
and it won't save you when the end,
comes crashing down upon us.

You are:
Beautiful, meaningful, happy, free,
a sight for all sore eyes who have wanted to see.
Compassionate, glorious, understanding,
Accomplished, and full of heart.

You are:
Open to nothing, closed to nothing,
in a void of avoiding the things,
that evoke normal emotions,
that create happiness and sadness.

You are:
A judge, a jury,
a hope, a fury,
you are king, and queen,
pauper and prince.

You are:
Black, white, yellow, and gray,
Aetheist, a man with every reason to pray.
Christian, Muslim, Jew, Buddhist,
Tangible, intangible, trustworthy and trustless.

You are:
A hippie, an expectant mother,
a truck driver, a girl like no other,
A man lost in his directions,
and a waitress lost in a sea of dishes.

You are human.

Rejoice.
You, are alive.
And there is no greater gift than life.

Peace,

There's a lesson that's well worth learning.

Very nice poem....I think it echoes Walt Whitman in a way...

This is an outstanding poem, it has so much meaning behind it, and somewhere in that poem describes everybody, nobody is left out.
