This is a thought that has occurred within me a couple of times, as Zoo recently celebrated his 100th article, and Capt. Cornbread just wrote his 150th the other day. I'm wondering, honestly, does that number make it an important article? Because some 100th and 200th and 25th articles stink on ice. I mean honestly... really look at them. They suck. (Not Brandon or Shaun, by the way, but some 100th, 25th, ect. articles really stink!)

This will be my *gasp* *shock-and-awe* 90th article. Big whoop. It's not going to be good, since I'm complaining about other people celebrating a number of articles. Lots of members of the JU community have hundreds of articles more than me. That's just a fact of life. Some people have the dedication to post 3-4 articles a day, while some of us get 2-3 out a week, if we're lucky and not on vacation (more about Disney soon, keep your ears perked up!).

If it's a number you feel worth celebrating, shouldn't the article be one worth celebrating as well?

Just some food for thought.

I think you're 100th should probably be a good article...lots of meaty substance anyway. If you can make it to 100 then you should be a pretty experienced blogger by then....so at least have something to say when you post your big number articles.

I read this and then decided to go back and see what number I was up to - 205 it totally passed me by I have no idea what was article 100, 150 or 200 (although I guess 200 should be easier to find unless it's private)

I disagree with Shaun - it's probably pretty easy to write 100 crap articles and have nothing of substance. I wrote at least 150 Think about the way people use their blogs, some as journals Today I got up had a bowl or cereal and a glass of orange juice.
If that person wrote something everyday - in 100days they'd have 100 articles - and if they all talked about juice and cereal they'd all be boring

Or some write about political commentry and could fit in like 2 or 3 or 10 articles in 1 day - 10 articles a day they'd have their 100 articles in 2 weeks

The only artcile I wrote referring to "my JU status" was The Trina-p midseason clipshow -- which flopped it was my 108th article 15weeks at JU blog - after that I stopped noticing.
I think if you're a rubbish writer who writes boring blogs that nobody wants to read it doesn't matter if its your 1st, 100th or 1000th

I am at my 7th article. Actually 8th, but I was unhappy with one. I pumped out an entire 3 articles in January, my most productive month. I can't really say article number inspires me, but I wouldn't know!

I was going to write something about the meaning of Life the Universe and Everything when I hit #42, but I guess I didn't keep track because #42 ended up being about killing patients, so... lol

I just celebrated number 100..I don't see the big deal in pointing it out...it's a great milestone.

If I were to write another one right now, I'd be at 43 and I really don't give a crap at all. I'll be lucky to poop out an article about anything right now, I find no reason to share with others my personal capades. What happens in my life stays in my life and those close to me if I deem it so.

I guess I've got some serious trust issues, but I don't need any underscores or asterisks by my face when people look at me. Like "Hey, there's Andy, but oh dear, he wrote that article wondering what it's like when girls get off, he's a pervert." I don't need any of that crap.

lol, the milestones used to be cool - but when you get to 355 articles, it's not an issue

besides, you don't want added pressure of milestones supposedly meaning that you are better at blogging than someone who wrote their first article.. i see writers everyday with their first article eclipsing the value of my first 100 together!

here is to at least 90 more for you

I can't even remember what my 100th article is about. And right now I have 151 articles. But I guess I really didn't care because obviously I didn't say anything about a 150th article. I honestly don't care how many articles I have. Big whoop. I'm pretty sure that whatever my 100th article was really sucked. But oh well.
